Under the Texas Education Code, each homeschool is considered a private school. Parents choose curricula (often several) for each child, and teach it based on the goals and standards they have set for that child. All curricula, activities, and supplies are privately funded by the parents. Some classes/subjects might be outsourced to in-person or online Co-Ops/educational programs, but there are no state standards or testing requirements.
